Remembering Cheyenne
Cheyenne is easy to remember. His Mom took a million photos of him, and so did all his friends. Petra has some great pix of Shiny on the beach...Mom wanted him to become a model, but Shiny wanted no part of that. Everyone gave him a second look...tall, gorgeous, confident, spontaneous. Truly a unique individual. But Cheyenne had other plans. He did not care that he could make more money waiting tables; he preferred to be backstage in the kitchen creating a delicious dinner. He loved to cook. I called him "Chef Tell" or sometimes "Chef Don't Tell"...certainly a better cook than the rest of his family, Mom got him a distinctive Chef's hat, black with red hot peppers on it!! It suited him and he loved cooking up a spontaneous meal for his friends. No one could beat his Carbonara or his Stuffed Portoballas!!

Storm Chasers!
Today is the first of September 2008. Happy September, Honey! There is a hurricane making landfall in New Orleans again. Please watch over those people and keep them out of harm's way. Now that you are an Angel, I know you can do those things....Remember when we lived in Florida and would try to chase the hurricanes? That was so exciting. We would get in the car and drive right towards them. It sure was better than sitting home watching all the action on TV. I remember driving around on the Cape during a Tropical Storm listening to reggae. You were little then. We had so much fun, and really had ourselves a good time! Those were the days, Shiny!
